အေျခခံစကားေျပာ (၂၀)

Let's not + (verb)

တစ္ခုခုကို "လုပ္ၾကစို႔။ လုပ္ၾကရေအာင္" လို႔ေျပာခ်င္ရင္ Let's …ပုံစံသုံးပါတယ္။ Let's ဆိုတာ Let us ရဲ႕ အတိုေကာက္ပုံစံပါ။ "မလုပ္ဘဲေနရေအာင္/ေနၾကစို႔" လို႔ေျပာခ်င္ရင္ေတာ့ Let's not + (verb) ပုံစံသုံးေပးပါ။

examples:
(1) "Let's not discuss this now."
ဒါကို အခုမေဆြးေႏြးပဲ ေနရေအာင္။
(2) "Let's not stay here too long."
ဒီေနရာမွာ အၾကာၾကီး မေနၾကစို႔လား။
(3) "Let's not stop anywhere on the way."
လမ္းက ဘယ္ေနရာမွာပဲျဖစ္ျဖစ္ မရပ္ဘဲေနရေအာင္။
(4) "Let's not remain mad at each other."
တစ္ေယာက္နဲ႔တစ္ေယာက္ စိတ္မဆိုးဘဲေနရေအာင္။ (mad ကို at/with နဲ႔ တြဲျပီး စိတ္ဆိုးေသာ၊ ေဒါသထြက္ေသာ၊ တယူသန္ေသာ ဆိုတဲ့အဓိပၸာယ္နဲ႔သုံးႏိုင္ပါတယ္)

ေနာက္ထပ္ဝါက်ေတြေလ့လာပါဦး။ အဂၤလိပ္လို ေလ့က်င့္ေျပာၾကည့္ပါ။
(1) တျခားသူေတြရဲ႕ ကိစၥထဲ ဝင္မရႈပ္ဘဲ ေနရေအာင္။ (meddle = စြက္ဖက္/ရႈပ္/ေမႊေႏွာက္)
(2) သိပ္ျပီး စိတ္လႈပ္လႈပ္ရွားရွား မျဖစ္ဘဲေနၾကစို႔။
(3) သိပ္ျပီး စိုးရိမ္ပူပန္တာမျဖစ္ဘဲ ေနရေအာင္။
(4) သူတို႔စကားေျပာေနခ်ိန္မွာ အေႏွာက္အယွက္မေပးဘဲေနၾကစို႔။(interrupt = ၾကားျဖတ္ေျပာသည္။ ေႏွာက္ယွက္သည္)
