broad နဲ႔ wide ဘယ္လိုကြာသလဲ

wide နဲ႔ broad ႏွစ္ခုစလုံးက ျမန္မာလိုေတာ့ "က်ယ္" တယ္ဆိုတဲ့ အဓိပၸာယ္ခ်ည္းပါပဲ။

🍓 wide က တစ္ဖက္နဲ႔ တစ္ဖက္ အကြာအေဝး က်ယ္တာကို ေျပာတယ္။
We live in a very wide street.
တို႔က အလြန္က်ယ္တဲ့ လမ္းထဲမွာ ေနတယ္။

The car's too wide for the garage.
ကားက ဂိုေထာင္အတြက္ က်ယ္လြန္းတယ္။

broad ကိုေတာ့ စိတ္ကူးသက္သက္နဲ႔ဆိုင္တဲ့ အသုံးအႏႈန္းေတြ (abstract expressions) မွာ အမ်ားဆုံး သုံးၾကတယ္။

broad agreement (= agreement on most points) - က်ယ္ျပန္႔တဲ့ သေဘာတူညီခ်က္
broad-minded (=tolerant) - သေဘာထားၾကီးေသာ။ တစ္ယူသန္ အစြဲမထားေသာ
broad daylight (= full, bright daylight)

broad ကို တျခား ေနရာမွာလည္း သုံးေသးတယ္။

broad shoulders (= wide strong shoulders) - က်ယ္ျပန္႔တဲ့ ပခုံးေတြ

ရႈေမွ်ာ္ခင္းေတြကို အခံ့သုံးပုံစံနဲ႔ ေဖာ္ျပတဲ့အခါမွာ

Across the broad valley, the mountains rose blue and mysterious.
က်ယ္ျပန္႔တဲ့ ေတာင္ၾကားကို ျဖတ္ျပီး ေတာင္တန္းေတြက ျပာျပီး ဆန္းျပားစြာ ေပၚထြက္ေနတယ္။
