ဒီစာေၾကာင္းေလး အရင္ ဖတ္ၾကည့္ပါ။

§  “Is Lucy here?” “No, she’s gone to London.”

“လူစီ ဒီမွာလား” “ဟင့္အင္း သူက လန္ဒန္ကို သြားျပီ”

ဒီဝါက်မွာ သြားတာကို ေျပာဖို႔ gone ကို သုံးထားတယ္ေနာ္။ (မူရင္း verb က go ပါ)။ ဒီလို gone ကို သုံးလိုက္တဲ့အခါမွာ တစ္ေယာက္က တစ္ေနရာကို သြားျပီ။ အဲဒီ သြားတဲ့ေနရာမွာ ရွိေနတယ္ ဒါမွမဟုတ္ရင္ လမ္းမွာ ရွိေနတယ္ဆိုတဲ့ အဓိပၸာယ္ပါ။

အဂၤလိပ္လိုကေတာ့ ဒီမွာ မွတ္ၾကမယ္။

v  Is somebody has gone to a place, he or she is there now, or on the way.

ေနာက္ထပ္ ဥပမာ ဝါက်ေတြကို ၾကည့္ၾကဦးမယ္။

§  Paul has gone to the hospital this morning (= he is still there).

ေပါလ္က ေဆးရံုကို ဒီမနက္ သြားတယ္။ (သူေဆးရံုမွာပဲ ရွိေသးတယ္။ ဒါေၾကာင့္ gone သုံးထားတယ္)

§  He has gone to New York. (= he is still there)

သူက နယူးေယာက္ကို သြားျပီ။ (သူ နယူးေယာက္မွာပဲ ရွိေသးတယ္။ ဒါေၾကာင့္ gone သုံး)

          ဒီတစ္ခါေတာ့ ေနာက္ထပ္ ဥပမာဝါက်တစ္ေၾကာင္းၾကည့္ရေအာင္။

§  She’s been to see us twice since Christmas.

သူက ငါတို႔ဆီကို ခရစ္စမတ္ကတည္းက ႏွစ္ၾကိမ္လာျပီးျပီ။

ဒီတစ္ခါမွာေတာ့ been သုံးထားတယ္ေနာ္။ been သုံးတဲ့အခါမွာ တစ္ေနရာရာကို လာတယ္ ျပီးေတာ့ ျပန္သြားတယ္၊ ဒါမွမဟုတ္ရင္လည္း တစ္ေနရာရာကို သြားျပီး ျပန္ေရာက္လာတာကို ေျပာတယ္။ ေနရာတစ္ခုကို သြားတာ ျပီးဆုံးသြားျပီဆိုတဲ့ သေဘာေပါ့။

အဂၤလိပ္လို မွတ္ခ်င္ရင္ ဒါေလး ဖတ္ၾကည့္ပါ။

v  Been is also used to mean ‘come (and gone away again)’.

ေနာက္ထပ္ ဥပမာေလးတစ္ခု ၾကည့္ပါ။

§  Ben has been to Spain. (= he went to Spain, but now he is back)

ဘန္က စပိန္ကို သြားျပီးျပီ။ (သူစပိန္ကို သြားခဲ့တယ္။ ဒါေပမဲ့ ခုျပန္ေရာက္ေနျပီ။ သြားတဲ့ ကိစၥျပီးျပီမို႔ been သုံးထားတာ)

ႏွစ္ခု ႏိႈင္းယွဥ္ျပီး မွတ္ၾကည့္ပါဦး။

§  Joan’s just gone to the shop. She’ll be back in about ten minutes. (=Joan has not yet returned from the shop.)

ဂ်ံဳး က ခုပဲ ေစ်းဆိုင္ကို သြားတယ္။ ဆယ္မိနစ္ေလာက္ဆို သူျပန္ေရာက္မွာပါ။ (ခုေတာ့ သူေစ်းဆိုင္မွာပဲ ရွိေသးတယ္။ ျပန္မေရာက္ေသးဘူးလို႔ ဆိုလိုတယ္)

§  Joan’s just been to the shop. She bought some cakes. Would you like one? (=Joan has returned from the shop.)

ဂ်ံဳး က ခုပဲ ေစ်းဆိုင္သြားျပီးတာ။ သူကိတ္မုန္႔ တခ်ိဳ႕ဝယ္လာတယ္။ တစ္ခုေလာက္ စားပါလား။ (ေစ်းဆိုင္သြားျပီးလို႔ ျပန္ေတာင္ေရာက္လာျပီ)

Ø  တစ္ခုတစ္ခု ေပ်ာက္ကြယ္သြားျပီ၊ ဒါမွမဟုတ္ ေနာက္ထပ္မရွိေတာ့ဘူးဆိုတာ ေျပာဖို႔ be ကို gone နဲ႔ သုံးႏိုင္တယ္။

v  We can use be with gone to say that something has disappeared, or that there is no more.

§  Is the butter all gone?
